Frequently asked questions
What files should I send for an AutoCAD drafting job?
Your existing DWG, PDF, sketches or photos, your title block and layer standard if you have one, and the deadline. You can attach up to 25 MB in total to the quote form and paste a sharing link into the description for larger files.
Is PDF to DWG conversion done automatically?
No. Automatic converters often don't give a clean layer and dimension structure. We redraw the drawing in AutoCAD, true to its dimensions, and deliver a usable DWG with a proper layer and block structure.
What do you base as-built drawings on?
On the changes marked by you or your site team (redline sheets, dimension notes, photos). Jobs that need site measurements are discussed separately when quoting.
In which formats are drawings delivered?
As DWG and PDF; SolidWorks files for 3D work. If your firm has a template, layer structure and title block, we draw to it.
